One of the most famous lines of Kant goes like this
“Two things fill my mind with ever increasing admiration and
awe, the more often and steadily I reflect upon them:
‘The starry heavens above me and moral codes within me’ “
Humans are born curious, and here Kant is describing two of
the most fundamental attitude present in human. It is said by Aristotle that,
“all humans by birth desires to know”, but to know what? Kant addresses the
question by summarizing the attitude of humans in general in above quotation.
The two fundamental attitudes are, to know outer and, to
know inner. In my understanding philosophy involves these two basic
attitudes> extrospection and introspection.
